At Saran Group, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts are guided by the motto “Together with Society, For Society.” We are dedicated to giving back to the community, harnessing the power of sports to foster understanding, promote wellness, and help build a healthier, more conscious generation. We believe that sports have a unique ability to bridge divides and promote dialogue across cultures, making a positive impact on communities worldwide. Our CSR initiatives focus on education, inclusion, and support for disadvantaged communities.
Diversity, inclusion, and equality are core values embedded in our CSR initiatives. We are committed to embracing and supporting all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, gender identity, or disability.
We collaborate with the Turkish Special Athletes Federation to support children with Down syndrome by offering weekly sports sessions led by our founder, Sadettin Saran. Additionally, we provide financial support to the Turkish Sports Federation for Athletes with Disabilities, contributing to the national team’s success at the 2012 London Paralympic Games, where they achieved historic results.
In 2004, we established Özbek Saran Primary School, followed by Geraldine Saran Primary School in 2006, Lal Saran Kindergarten in 2007, and Naciye Pehlivanlıoğlu Saran High School in Kırıkkale in 2008.
These schools provide education to underserved communities, with a focus on offering equal opportunities to all students. We also launched the Cinema Şark/East project, which brings cinema to youth in Hakkari, enhancing their access to cultural experiences.
Additionally, we support the Child Rights Platform’s “Child Power Against Abuse” project and have been a key partner in this initiative since 2019. Led by Prof. Dr. Bahadır Erdem, the project raises awareness about and combats child abuse in schools across Kırıkkale and the surrounding areas.
